Hi, :hello:

I have a problem with my internet connection. It started some weeks ago and i called my ISP , they checked my phone line and they said that everything is working correctly. They said that the problem might be my router.I bought a new router ( ZTE ZXV10 W300 V5.2 ) but the problem persists. I changed all the cables tried using the internet without any telephone device connected to my phone line , i changed antivirus program ( from norton to avast ) It just wont stop dropping! :pfff: . My ISP told me that the problem might be a program from my computer.Note that the connection mostly drops when im playing online games but it drops when im surfing too. Last time this internet drop thing happened was last Christmas and i had no problems for then on.(i have no idea how it got fixed then... MAGIC)By the way, can the reason of the internet drops be a virus?

I dont know if it helps but i ran an network analysis. Here are the results : http://n2.netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/summary/id=43ca208a-22823-f8c0664a-e030-48ee-b53c

I also ran an network info log from cmd. Here are the results:

Hey The_Prophecy
Thank you for responding
When my connection drops the DSL light starts blinking and the internet light turns off.

As i mentioned at my post when i first had the problem i called them and they told me that the problem might be my modem. And so i bought a new one.(2 or 3 days ago). I dont think the problem is my modem because i just replaced it

Ah im so sorry . I meant i replaced the modem. Not the router. i dont even know if i have a router..
Some more Questions ( Please Reply )
Can it be a software from my computer blocking the connection or something like that?
When i called my isp they told me that my phone like is ok but they are unable to check the phone line in the house. Is there a chance the problem is there? At my home phone line? If yes what do i do?
Can it be a phone device the problem?
I also moved my telephone device and connected my modem and my telephone via splitter. Still the connection is dropping.

I have cable internet, not DSL so I can't answer all these. I do know all phone lines must have filters on them except for the ones attached to your computer. If there is any device on the line (like an ansering machine or just another phone) that is behaving badly, it can inject noise on the line which can cause problems. I don't know if the filters can handle those type problems. If it's an inside line problem, you can call someone familiar with phone lines or the phone company will inspect it - most likely for a fee.
