[SOLVED] Internet throttling

I recently built my new pc and my internet speed seems to be a lot slower then it is meant to be. Im getting 100mps on my new system however on my old pc and even on my current laptop, I'm getting 250mps.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?. Any help is appreicated.

We need much more info. Make and model of motherboard? Wired or wireless connectivity?
If wired, is it a direct connection to the router or is there in-wall wiring?
If wired, is it a "flat" ethernet cable?

That motherboard has the Intel I-225V 2.5Gb network interface. You can try these steps -- https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/s...490-Chipset---Network-Connection-Issues-1981/

Also make sure you aren't using any "flat" ethernet cables.
