OK, this is my 4th build and it looks like I got my first DOA motherboard. I want to describe what is happening to verify that there is nothing else I should try before I RMA it back to newegg. Here is my set up:

AMD 7750 - http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0306467

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157147

OCz DDR2 800 4gb - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227199&Tpk=ocz2g8004gk

WD green 640GB - hhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136298

Samsung DVD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151173

OCZ StealthXStream 500W Powersupply - http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0276315

When I hit the power, the power light goes on, the case and cpu fan go on, the HDD light blinks a couple times, but I get no post on the monitor and no error beeps. I took it out of the case and put it on the bag it came in and removed everything except the MB power, cpu and HSF - still the fans go but no video or sound or anything. Is this DOA, needing an RMA or is there something else I should try?

I would go through this checklist before you RMA it:

I would focus on the RAM. The standard voltage for DDR2 RAM is 1.8v and that RAM needs 2v to run correctly. The first thing I would try would be to remove one stick of RAM and see if it posts that way. If it does post with one stick of RAM, manually set the RAM speed/timings/voltage to the manufacturers specs in the BIOS and then try posting with both sticks of RAM installed.

Yes, I have the 4pin ATX 12V plugged in.

I tried with no ram and it did not give me the "beeps" that warn of invalid ram, so I did not take it any further. I have not tried just one ram yet, I will do so shortly.

You guys are geniuses. I never even looked at the voltage on the RAM.

I put one in and viola, it posts. I will try to manually configure the RAM, or just take it back and get something with 1.8v. Any suggestions (www.Microcenter is close so I would like to get it from there if I can, but newegg is fine, I can wait if I must)

Yes, that RAM should work fine since it's designed to run at the standard 1.8v. If you aren't stuck with buying the RAM from microcenter this kit has tighter timings. I run it in my own computer and have been very impressed with it. I've also been using it for recent builds and have yet to be disappointed.
