[SOLVED] Is it okay if my screen makes noise when I press it?

Should I return my monitor if when I press my screen it makes a crackling noise or something along with that? Or is that normal for my type of monitor or just a regular thing?

does it do it every time or just occasionally? it could just be static

I can't say my screen makes any noise when/if I touch it. Its only 4 months old, I try not to touch it.
If its all the time you might want to get it replaced.

Displays are layered plastic, so yes if you press them they will make noise. You also will get noise from the swivel joints as they take pressure. I would only return the monitor if you experience visual issues that impair performance.
