[SOLVED] Is it possible to connect a monitor through USB?

I have a spare monitor that would be useful for a 3rd monitor, but my laptop only has one display input (HDMI). Do things like this: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-...=1&keywords=usb+to+hdmi&qid=1587571525&sr=8-4 work? Would I be able to extend it as a third display, or would it just copy one of my other displays?
