I have a Sapphire R7 360 and I’m trying to squeeze every last bit of performance out of it since GPUs are unreasonably priced. I already overclocked it at its limits and wanted to ask if it would be possible to unlock its shader units via flashing onto it an R7 360 896SP bios (a variant with all the units unlocked) ?

Seems there is a difference in the actual hardware between both of these. You may very well brick your GPU in the attempt. I do not recommend this course of action without confirmation (verifiable) that this works. Else, you'll really be in trouble given the current market.

Thanks, if it is like that I won’t attempt it at all, that’s my only decent GPU.
