Question is it safe to run a 14700k with a low end cooler for testing (bios)?

I've all of the parts for my new built except the cpu cooler (ak620) still hasn't arrived , is it save to test them to see if the system will post to bios, using a cooler master hyper d92 from an old haswell-e 5820k built, just placed on top of the 14700k without mounting, I've no idea what that cooler's tdp is, but I remember I was at least drawing ~130:140 watts while overclocking the 5820k before it'd reach critical temp (~80 I think), the 14700k's Processor Base Power is 125, so idk if it's safe or not?
Also if I'm going to use a thermalright contact frame while putting the final build together, do I've to use it for the purpose of the initial testing too, for example if I just used the ilm first to mount the cpu just to test that everything works fine , could it permeantly curve the cpu or is it just temporary ?

its fine. the CPU wont overheat, as it will throttle and stay in the safe zone. use it only for testing and not anything thats CPU intensive, and youll be fine

Those frames are mostly not needed. It is not the cpu than bends it is the motherboard. They are making it seem it is some larger issue than it really is. All that really happens is there is slightly thicker bits of thermal paste in some areas of the cpu. Optimally if the cpu and the cooler were perfectly flat with no imperfections you could run with no thermal paste and get maximum heat transfer.

These frames are mostly for people that are chasing extremely small increases in benchmark scores. These are the same guys that delid cpu, use liquid metal, and do crazy stuff like trying to sand the cooler plates.

You generally will not see any real world difference in how applications run. In general you will not see any cooling issue even with a good air cooler on a 13700k with or without the frame. You would have to do stuff like remove the power limits and mess with the clock rates to worry about it. Still I am not sure what real world difference it would make, I guess it depends if your main application is running benchmarks to impress your friends :)

I would not.
Be patient.
To be properly cooled, a cooler needs to have paste applied as well as pressure.
Nothing would likely go wrong. If the cpu got too hot, it would just shut down to protect itself.
But, what would that prove?

Contact frames are not necessary, and I think they void the intel warranty.
So long as the AK620 includes a LGA1700 mounting kit you will be fine.

Be patient.

Use the time to put the other parts together out of the case for testing.
You might want to download any bios updates or drivers to a usb stick to be ready to install.
Take the time to read, cover to cover the user manual for the case and motherboard.
