is my new psu bad?

My home built system would randomly shut off and reboot so I put in a new powersupply.

Now, when I power it on, all the fans work, but the system won't boot and it beeps every few seconds.


So, I guess I have three questions:

1) is my new power supply bad?
2) is my mother board bad?
3) is my cpu bad?

I don't want to believe 2 or 3 since the computer was fine (other than the shut off) before the power supply swap.

Recheck all your connections from the new psu, be sure the video card and ram are fully seated in the sockets. The MB is fine, it is beeping right. If the latter does not work, unplug the PSU and reset the CMOS jumper. Be sure to remove the battery and unplug the psu when you reset the jumper.
