is the cheapest and is it really good? because generic ssds are cheap but bad.
I wanted a cheap ssd that lasts a few years and doesn't burn out after a few months of use, like the generic ones.

OP

all three pc here in my house have a Patriot. #1 = 1 Trancend SSD (boot drive), 1 Patriot SSD. #2 = 1 Patriot SSD (boot drive), 1 HDD. #3 = 1 Patriot SSD (boot drive), 2 HDD.

will not say it's the best. Have only tried Patriot and Transcend, so I can't make comparison to other brands.

no problems, it's almost three years now. All SSD I own are still working (lol).

but well, it's still up to your luck.. SSD or HDD can sometimes randomly die. Also don't fill it up too much, leave enough free space.

I've had a Patriot ssd for about 3 years with no problems at all. I don't know if it's the fastest ssd but it's a lot faster than the 7200 rpm hard drive it replaced. I'm planning on buying at least one more Patriot ssd too.
