I have a RTX 2080. I am getting a GTX 1070TI at very cheap price (cheaper than GTX 1660TI). Should I get it for PhysX? Will it help me in any games like Warzone/RDR2/Control?

Basically, can I touch 2080TI in performance?

P.s. I have X570 board with PCIE 4.0.

Solution
No, you can't touch a 2080 Ti in performance. A 2080 Ti is like 30% more powerful than a 2080; it's just not going to happen. The PhysX calculations are designed to be run on the same GPU that you are using to render your game. Offloading them onto a 1070 Ti will be a hassle and will probably make very little difference (although feel free to try).

FYI both the 1070 Ti and the 2080 use PCIe 3.0. Plugging them into your PCIe 4.0 motherboard will have no benefit as they will run at PCIe 3.0 irregardless. PCIe 4.0 isn't useful unless the device you are plugging into it supports it.
