i know it may seem stupid to ask but it is better asking to be sure than not
i really need to know, i think it is but i am not sure if i need to upgrade anything else much

It'll work, but you'll need a new power supply to go with the new GPU.

possibly not, the xps computer cases are pretty small, and the 780ti is a big card, so i can see this not fitting in your case.
