Title says it all.
I've been searching up if they are compatible and all I'm finding is conflicting sources and generic "supports kentsfield" statements which don't confirm it for me.
I wanna triple check as this motherboard was hard to find, don't want to run the risk of frying it.

Thanks in advance.

Here is a list of all motherboard's that the processor will drop into;
https://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Core_2_Extreme/QX6850_motherboards.html

FYI, from that list of motherboard's, I actually still own a Q9550 + Asus Rampage Extreme (x48 chipset) and it's been a solid performer btu I retired it in 2016.

Even if you magically make that processor work on that socket for the board listed in your thread's title, it lacks proper VRM/cooling and I would not pair it with that processor, unless you want to see how spectacularly that area will blow up.
