I wouldn't do it. Who knows what that drive has been through. Spend a few dollars more and get a new drive is my advice.

It is being sold through Amazon directly, and they have an awesome 30-day return policy.

I wonder if 30 days is a long enough period to know if it will fail or not?

If the 830 was say $150.... may warrant consideration.

For $13.00 more you can purchase a brand new ssd instead of a used ssd. BH Photo was in business long before there was an Internet. Every once in a while they have a sale price that is hard to beat. This is one of those times. I have purchased a few items from BH Photo in the past. No problem! 😀
