Hello haven't turned the pc on yet but got a new power supply and a new GPU is this cable insertion okay? (Look imgur) Thanks in advance

As far as I can see it's 8 + 8 Pin but you plugged 8+6 pin (XFX FATBOY 590), because that's what your card needs, to put it simply, the connectors are made so you wouldn't be able to plug them if they are not where they are suppose to be. So fire up the monster!
