Is this graphics card compatible with this motherboard?

I want to know if a SAPPHIRE 100284L Radeon HD 5750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 graphics card is compatible with a MSI Z87-G43 GAMING LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard and how to tell if they are compatible. I don't want to buy things that aren't compatible.

Z87 has the pcie3.0 X16 slot, and the pcie3.0 is backward compatible to the pcie2.0. More info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express

Yes, it is compatible and goes in the PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot.
450 Watt or greater power supply with 1x 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended

I just attempted to build a system with those parts on PC part picker and it said no comparability issues found,so i think your fine.
