Question Issue with Monitor Display After Exiting Sleep Mode on Windows

Hello everyone,

I've been experiencing an issue with my monitor after my Windows 11 PC exits sleep mode. When I wake up the computer, the monitor takes time to fully display the image. Half of the screen is black with green stripes, and it gradually loads until it's fully stabilized. Once it's stabilized, the monitor works perfectly without any further issues. The problem only occurs after coming out of sleep mode.

For additional context, I'm using a DisplayPort cable and my graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. I've attached an image (link below) to give you a better idea of what I'm dealing with.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem or have any suggestions on how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does it do this on all DisplayPort connections? Looks like the card has multiple if I'm seeing the spec pics right.

Make sure the type of DisplayPort cable you are using is rated for your graphics card. It's almost like it's slow to refresh via the refresh rate or something similar hence it being fine once it wakes.
