Hello,

I have a BenQ XL2720Z connected with a DisplayPort cable for 144hz gaming. I've owned it for just over 4 years. I've been gaming at 144hz perfectly with no problem for years now, but today I tried a second display. I dug out this crappy old small tv from the late 90s/early 2000s with standard def made by Sharp. I thought it would be cool to watch youtube videos with this small screen.

I opened nvidia control panel to configure the display and there was no option for 144hz under 'Change Resolution' for my BenQ monitor. It only offers 60hz, 59hz, and 50hz in the drop down menu. However, under 'Adjust desktop size and position' in the preview section it gives me the 144hz option.

The Sharp secondary display is working perfectly.

I have no idea what to do to get 144hz to work.

Thank you
