Hello,

While I was adjusting the alarm temp thresholds on the RP-1000 the display went and stayed blank, well a zero is displayed on the left side. The RP-1000 is connected to a PC4-1000 (4 x 120mm), and now all fans are at max speed and I can't adjust them. It is quite loud.

Is there some way to fix this or reset the pump/reservoir to default? Holding the C/F button to restore the temperature settings to default (a la the manual) does not work.

Thank you.

Solution
If you're unit is out of warranty Koolance sells both the display board and control board so you can replace them yourself. I suggest you go to the Koolance sight forums and ask there. The Koolance forums are monitored by their techs or you can call them directy and ask for help as well. Their number is listed on the Koolance web site.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I just contacted them, it seems to be a known problem. If you push set while setting the threshold it nukes the program of the board!!! Darn, they could put a warning in the manual or something.

RMA it is.
