Good day

When I turn on my computer in the morning after being off all night the
computer hangs at the windows user select screen. The mouse will not select
the user and the keyboard has no effect. The computer is frozen. I flip
the power supply switch off on the back of the tower, wait 10 seconds and
turn the power back on. Computer boots and runs perfect no freezes and no
problems.

This problem just recently started.

Computer is protected with AVG and Ad-aware

Thank you for any advice given.

There may be a hardware conflict someplace or maybe its a USB problem. Are
Keyboard and mouse combo BOTH USB? The keyboard should Always be IMHO, PS/2,
As they havent gotten the USB thing cleaned up enough to work properly.
Especially if you have a MOBO driver or two that has been replaced by a
Microsoft driver......

I can smell LINUX getting closer, EVERYDAY.....
