Right now, I'm getting @36C idle @ 1.06v (cnq on) and 54C full load @ 1.36v (currently set at 1.30v, at 1.30v, the max temp i get is 48C.) There's no possible way for me to get this higher, unless i use an older bios. at 1.36v, my wattage is around 165w. The ambient is 30C.
I'm going to switch my hsf around tomorrow, but i was wondering, should I lap the chip/cooler while i'm at it? both are uneven. but really, there's no way i'm going to use or need additional cooling. at this point, it would just be about bragging rights. my setup meets or exceeds reviews already.
