[SOLVED] laptop CPU overheating issue

Hi
I have overheating problem in this laptop.
HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec1xxx
Ryzen 5-4600H
gtx 1650-ti

when GPU is 100%, max temp is 50~55 degree
but when my CPU usage%50 the temp is between 95~105

here is some ex:
cs go: in low resolution ,fps like 300 but the CPU temp 90~100
rainbow 6: in low resolution, fps like 120 but the CPU temp 100~115

how I can fix this? I replaced the thermal paste a few days ago but the temp still the same ((

I spilled tea on my keyboard a few months ago and i cleaned the surface of it, is this the reason for the overheating?

Your English is fine.

If the temperature problems began or started soon after the tea spin then the spill may have indeed caused some problem.

Very good that you are looking at GPU and CPU %'s plus temperatures.

However, go a step further and use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to determine what processes, services, and apps are actually using those %'s.

The objective is to discover what running apps (foreground or background) cause the temperatures to climb. Or the %'s to change.

My thought is that you may have some corrupted or buggy files.

Verify that all drivers are up-to-date. Even if so, consider reinstalling by manually downloading the drivers directly from the applicable manufacturer's website. Reinstall and reconfigure.

Uninstall the games. Determine if the laptop "cools". Then install games but only one at a time. If the laptop temperatures remain as expected then install the next app. Wait a day or so between installs to ensure that the temperatures, etc. are stable.

What you are watching for is one particular app or other installed software that causes the problem to return or change in some manner.

I don’t know if temperature problems started after tea spill because I spilled the tea 2 days after purchase the laptop



Of course I am checking the Task Manager every time, all apps and service are using low %.
when I play the game is only one who uses high %. no problem in this point.


All drivers are up-to-date and I installed them from HP Support assistant .

So you think I have problem in my Windows and if I format it should be gone?

Especially because the problem has not actually been identified.

I used Resource Monitor and there is no problem in it all services and files is working with low %.
