Hello,
I am currently buying a laptop that I will be using 12+ hours per day mainly for work (programming, running VMs, many browser tabs, and IDEs simultaneously) sometimes for gaming (basic games like valorant or rocket league since I do most gaming on PS5) and everyday usage, so I need something that can deal with this sort of concurrent apps and environments without breaking down.
A good battery life and nice mobility would be nice, but aren't the most important since the laptop is mostly on a desk connected to an additional screen. I also lean towards bigger screens since it is more comfy but anything from 15.6 would work for me.
So from searching on what was available I found myself in front of those three, what would you recommend based on these specs, build quality, and durability:
To be honest, I am leaning a bit towards the victus since it has the big screen and better specs than the Omen, but I am not sure if the spec difference is worth choosing the Victus over the Omen.
If you have other suggestions in the same price range I would be delighted to hear them. I currently live in Egypt and my budget is at 1300 USD tops but we are not very up to date with new laptops since we have lots of restrictions on import and speciallty electronics.
Finally, I was under the influence that intel is better in this category (i7- 11800H, i7-12650H, i7- 12700 ) but have seen many mention that Ryzen CPUs like (5800 H, 6600H, 6800H) are very durable, so are the Ryzens worth checking or does intel win this one?
