[SOLVED] laptops makes buzzing sound when plugged in

I have a helios 300 And I recently noticed that when the laptop is turned off and plugged in in makes a buzzing noise the noise is faint you have to put your ear against the bottom of the laptop to hear it, is this normal?

It's coil whine. If the noise isn't a precursor/an indication of any issues with your platform/system while it's powered up(no glitches with the laptop, or stutters with it), then you should leave it be. Just to be sure, make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your laptop.
