LCD - DVI? VGA? D-SUB?

alrite... DVI is prob the best out of the 3 but wat the hell is D-sub ? i mean it looks jus like a VGA? and which would b a better brand Acer or LG in making LCDs?

DVI is digital D-sub is analogue (D shaped and small 15 pin RGB)
