They said it is an entry level GPU, so what card is it, can not find any reference information or specification about GK107. Or maybe it is just rumor or fake .
Damn if it is true that an entry level card can dominate my GTX 550 ti by 1000 GPU points, i will throw mine right away.

550ti is considered an entry level gaming card and even at that not a very good one LOL.

No, a 550Ti will do you very well at lower resolutions, 1600 x 900, heck it even performs pretty nicely at 1920 x 1080, I consider the 5670/6670 entry level

Well it is ok at that resolution, unfortuenatly it sucks at DX11 games. I have a 550ti myself and I had a 1600x900 monitor. Not really that good of a card.

Nobody honesty wants to game at any res with anything less than a GTX 460 or Radeon HD 6850 cause the price is affordable in relativity and the performance is soild across many games Maxed DX11 etc etc whereas 550ti chokes when the going gets rough not to mention it's priced to high and to close to a good 6850. PS even my Golden moldy oldy GTX 275 puts the much newer 550ti to shame LOL.

Already know that, but i find it more familiar to use Nvidia Card and its Control Panel than AMD ATi card and its Catalyst Control Center, i used to use a 8600gt for a few years since it was released. So again, when buying new card to replace my old 8600gt, i chose Nvidia.
GTX 550 ti is weaker than GTX 460 and a few bucks cheaper.A few bucks more is affordable but i just think GTX 460 is not really a good optimized card, people buy it because it is good considering its price. Well, considering a 336 Shader Processors vs a 192 Shader Processors, both are CUDA architecture-code named “Fermi”, why a GTX 460 is only 17~30% better than a GTX 550 ti depending on games we are playing, and it consumes approximately 40~50% more power not mentioning hotter than GTX 550 ti. I had a hard time to decide but i still decided to go for a GTX 550 ti when i saw the MSI GTX 550 ti Cyclone II OC, well it is damn cool for a card that use a 6-PIN power connector.

GTX 460 is considered one of Nvidia's best cards ever made.

Why don't you understand, plz? I am not saying that GTX 460 is bad, for its price now, if people buy it, they call it money-well-spent. I just tried to see things from a different point of view, and unfortunately that point of view somehow convinced me that at least GTX 550 ti was not wasting its potential power and it was still good enough for my 20 inch LCD :)

Put it this way the GTX 460 or 6850 can be had for the same price as 550ti near enough anyway and will be the difference between playing at ultra with full AA/AF or settings turned down a bit and AA/AF low or off on the 550ti. Ps 6850 is you best bet.

Last year, i suggested one of my friends that he should buy a HD 6850. And yes, it is really good, and even better bet than a gtx 460. I was quite happy because i gave a good advice to my friend. But after a couple of months, it was my time to decide, and i could not get away from the habit of using Nvidia cards, and my story began as i told you :)

If you like Nvidia GTX 460 min if Radeon 6850 min for decent competent gaming on most games.

Agreed with that, however i spent my money on GTX 550 ti last year and there are some technical reasons that i mentioned made me quite satisfied with this choice, without any regret. And if i were to upgrade my VGA this year, not last year, well, i would definitely wait for the next generation to come out and decide :) Forget about the gtx 460 and hd6850 because we are having a whole new generation coming out this year and they are built using the 28nm process, not 40nm anymore.
they can be more expensive but it worths spending money on them.

LOL nothing will change Radeons low end is out and it solidify the 6850 as the best deal going so I would pick one up before they EOL them. The new Nvidia cards will not change much it will be business as usual you want faster you pay more if you are on a budget HD 6850, 6870 GTX 5\460 are still the cards to beat even when the 78xx comes out.

Boopoo is rght on those 460's. I get 3894 3DMark 11 with a stock clocked EVGA 460 SE 763/1526/1900 and an I5- 2400 GHz. 1920X1080 monitor.
With SLI'ed 460's clocked to 840/1680/2000 the score shoots up to 23074 3D Marks Vantage with a 2500K clocked $3.2GHZ, I was running a comparison with an AMD 1090T BE and a 580 card.
I won...

ed: oops! That 23074 score is PC mark Vantage. Not sure of the difference between Vantage and Mark 11 except that Mark 11 is tuned for Direct X 11
The 3d Mark 11 score is a 460 SE and an I5-2400

well, HD 7770 and HD7750 is quite a disappointment. If AMD new mid-range is all the same, nothing enough to be called an improvement, then Nvidia will surely play this round the same way and customers will not have anything enough to be called "benefit" from it.
I have a bad feeling about this, AMD may be playing some tricks, waiting for nvidia to release their new GPUs then suddenly release a new driver that really help improve their HD7000 performance LOL. Let's just hope so even it is not likely to be like that.

Well you have to remember that the 77xx are Radeons new Low end GPUs and they are as fast as the last gen mid range GPUs so they are really pretty good just pricing was a bit on the high side. 7850 will be a bit faster than GTX 560ti and 7870 will be a bit faster than 570 and 7890 will sandwich the 580 between the 7950
