Sooooo.... what is my ram speed? i am so confused. BIOS / CMD / CPUz / Task Manager ... I have ryzen master and other monitoring software but i think i posted enough images..
What is the legit speed?
Motherboard : TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi)
CPU : Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: RAM CORSAIR CMK32GX4M2B3200C16 VENGEANCE LPX BLACK 32GB (2X16GB) DDR4 3200MHZ DUAL KIT
thanks in advance for the help and sorry if my question is stupid and the answer is obvious but because i am a noob i cannot see it...

The basic gist of it is, that all is well, and your ram is running as it should be. i.e 3200mhz. The 1596.8 is doubled for 3193.6, which is essentially 3200mhz. The reason it's not exact on the button is because the bus speed sometimes fluctuates between 99.7 and 100mhz, which is why it's slightly less than 3200mhz.

The 2133 (1066) are just the defaults settings for the DIMMS.

Your ram is running fine.

Yeah, the bios is just telling you the default speed for all DDR4 ram. Which is 2133mhz. The reason why it reports 1596.8 is because DDR (double data rate) means the 1596.8 is doubled.

The settings you see in CPU-z represent exactly that. At default the speed is 1066 x 2 (2133mhz), but XMP is 1600 x 2 (3200mhz). But as described in this case the bus speed is relevant.

You can of course set the BLCK manually to 100mhz exactly to hit 3200mhz exactly, but doing that can cause instability. So it's best to leave that on auto.

Ok thank you very much for providing your expertise on this subject. i was afraid that i paid more for faster ram and i can't use them on full potential.

I think that is the fear of most people in similar threads about their ram speed in this forum.

I will leave them as they are. no need to risk for instability for that 100mhz. Thanks again!
