Question Lenovo Ideapad 330 15ICH - I can't update BIOS from 7ZCN29WW to 7ZCN30WW

Lenovo Vantage told me to update my BIOS to that new version, so I started the update, then the installer asked me to reboot, and after rebooting BIOS hadn't been updated.

I have a dual boot with Windows 10 May 2019 and Ubuntu 19.04 next to GRUB latest release.

(The BIOS update file is an .exe btw, I've never seen that).


Any clue about what's happening?

Check with Lenovo support, that BIOS update is not just the BIOS file but the setup package that is why it's an exe not a bin or something.

If the system is working fine as it is, I would just skip the upgrade if it failed.
