Question LG OLED TV - HDR Effect Issue

Hello all.

I have both my Windows 10 PC and my PS4 hooked up to my LG OLED TV via certified HDMI. When viewing my PS4, my TV picture setting uses ‘HDR Effect’ mode, which is the correct mode. However, when I’m viewing my PC input, it shows it as ‘Standard’ mode without ‘HDR Effect’ mode being an option, even though Windows HDR is enabled. This happens in both the desktop and within a fullscreen game with HDR enabled, on a 2080 Ti.
Does anyone know why this is?

make sure that hdmi uhd colors are enabled in tv settings
otherwise i have samsung and hdr there is bugged too when using source type as PC, once i switch it on tv to game console, hdr works fine

Disregard. The HDR Effect mode is meant for SD content only.
