I have a small airport I want to remove but can't work out how....
there must be some way, scoured the manual but that was no help...

i tried the clear landscape button, & also opening the airport
construction button and right-clicking... both don't work..

any help would be appreciated...

Bill

BTW if you want to crash the game on purpose (don't know why you'd
want to, but just letting you know), try changing a station name to
blank (i.e. open the rename box and just delete the name and select
that); I got an exception violation error (something like that) and
game closed down.

Use the airport construction button and right click... However, you'll have
to search around for the right square to click on within the airport area.
You'll see an indication at the bottom of your screen when a right click
will remove the airport.

It's like "find the pixel" when removing bus stops, only bigger!

Also you can't remove the airport if any plane is currently on the ground
or heading for the airport.

Thanks Matthew & Josef,

it was a bit of both, i should've realised that removing the airport
would be similar to removing bus stops & rail signals.

thanks for the help guys.

Worse : if the plane grounded on the airport but that you remove it
(i.e. it has no position), you can't delete the airport until you remove
it from the waypoint list of the plane without position.
