Hey, I've recently purchased a few items for building my own PC. The items I've purchased so far:

Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814195003

Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131025

Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146565

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819115003

Note : I didn't purchase these from Newegg.com, I didn't feel like searching around for pictures.

I have a keyboard, mouse, monitor, and optical drive.

Is there any way I could complete this computer with around 250$?
Maybe purchase the rest off of Ebay.com, stuff is really cheap there.

Thanks for any help you can provide me!

Edit: If you've any suggestions or links to products that could work for me, I'd greatly appreciate them.

What do you need, i don't feel like checking what you've got.

Seriously, it looks like PSU case and HDD, in which case yes, but three points.

1. saying that you can't be arsed to do something is not a way to get help... this applies in the real world not just here.

2. attaching links without actually typing what they are is anopther sign of laziness, it means that those who are trying to help you have to open up 4 more windows to have a look, not too much of a problem in this case, as I'm going to make the stupid assumption that all of your components are compatible.

3. tell us what you are going to use it for... we could show you an 80Gb hdd and you not have enough space when you have installed everything. or you may be looking for a desktop vs tower arrangement, you may want it quiet, etc....

yes you probably can get what you need, but there's little point in advising you until you provide some more information.

By the way, I wouldn't have spent 5 mins replying to this if I didnb't want to help you.

Sorry for not having a more detailed post. I've been up for an extended period of time and I'm really not thinking straight at this time.

I never said or even implied I wasn't willing to do anything asked of me.

For the parts I do have:

Video Card: ATI 100-435805 Radeon X1900XTX 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 VIVO PCI Express x16 Video Card

Mobo: ASUS P5W DH DELUXE/WIFI-AP Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 975X ATX Intel Motherboard

Ram: Crucial Technology Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M sharing L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor

Products I believe I need to get it all up and running are: HDD, PSU, Case and Cooling. I could Probably find What cooling I need for everything but I appreciate any suggestions or personal expirences with what works good with what I have.

This rig will be used for gaming for the most part.

The reason I'm not going to look for these parts myself is that I'm not to sure what is compatable with what I currently have (I was told everything current will be compatible). I wouldn't suspect anything I have left to buy wouldn't work with what I have, but I want to be sure.

So will these items be compatible with what I currently have?

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 Plus ST3160023A 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA100 Hard Drive ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148025 )

PSU: Rosewill RP550S-2MK 550W Modular Cable Power Supply ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182027 )
I may want to upgrade to CF with another 1900 xtx Will that power supply be enough?

Case: Thermaltake Matrix VX VD3000BWA Black Aluminum ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133008 )

Thanks a bunch for your time.

I'd go for a Sata HDD (cables are smaller, interface is faster (not a big issue though)) but it is the next gen interface, and you only have 1 ide port on your mobo probably and definately in the future you'll only have 1 or none, but rarely 2. 16Mb cache preferable to 8Mb, the 7200.8 are now two generations old, 7200.10 are latest, minimum size 200gb, but easier to find 250Gb, and I doubt there's anything in it pricewise.

Important thing to look for on the PSU is the 12V current, 36A on the two rails is good, although you probably won't have access to all 36A, that may be enough to crossfire... but I'd ask why bother, unless you are at high res is generally doesn't make any difference from what I understand. I've not heard of rosewill, i'd have tried for enermax, seasonic, hiper, + many others. But they could be good.

Case, your choice, think about airflow, 120mm fan locations are vital, have a look at the antec P180, very nice, very cool, no PSU included.

Gotta love Conroe, leaves a good amount of power left over for the hungry GPUs.
