I seem to have a very low score on the firestrike extreme preset on my 7950. It is an msi 7950 that i very recently got, and i am getting a graphics score of around 2500.

My cpu is a 8350 and is scoring 8000 plus which seems about right. Is my graphics card faulty?

Thanks

I can see why you might be gun-shy, but there is nothing wrong with that 200W beast of a card running at those temps. Well within specs.

GPUs are designed to run safely at much hotter temps than CPUs. I can't find written proof right now, but I believe I read that both Nvidia and AMD guarantee their cards to somewhere over 100C. (105C?) My GTX 570 would game at 85C... even after cleaning and fresh TIM application. And the air out the back grill would be really warm.
