[SOLVED] Low GPU usade in graphically demanding game

Hi,

I have a weird problem with my GPU. I've been playing Horizon zero dawn (PC) recently and I noticed that my GPU usage was incredibly low (Around 5% all the time) and CPU usage was around 60-70%.
I know this build is a little bottlenecked, but I still think it's weird that my GPU usage is this low.
I'm playing on a 2K Monitor at around 50fps with medium settings, so it isn't that bad. (Frame Limit In-game : 120fps)
I was wondering if it is using my GPU at its full potential or something is wrong ?
And this is not the only game with this problem. All my games hover at a low % GPU usage.

Are you using DirectX 12? If so the Task Manager won't show the correct usage. I would recommend using MSI Afterburner instead.

No worries, Task Manager doesn't work with low level API's like DirectX12.
