Magical Trinkets of Tamriel?

Hi all,

thanks to all who helped with the "must-have mods". I'm pretty close to
completing my setup (I think) but I can't find a valid link for one mod I
wanted to try.

"Magical Trinkets of Tamriel" by Chris Woods; I understand this is up to
ver4 (beta, at least) but the only links I could find were dead, pointing to
http://www.cs.okstate.edu/~woodsc/ or thereabout.

Does anyone know of a valid download location?

Thanks again.

The author seems to have removed that webpage and any download
possibilities. Speculations can be found in the elderscrolls.com forums.
I'm not up to date on that, I don't check that forum regulary. From what
I gathered some days ago, nobody knows anything. People are reluctant to
upload MTT to some public site as the author restricted redistribution
in his licence text. You could check the elderscrolls.com forum ("Mods
Discussion" there) for updates on a public download location. I can't
find anything recent there now, too much noise.

I have MTT III and IV-Beta (don't know if it's the latest) floating on
my harddisk. I will *not* upload it somewhere public. You could send me
an email, though. That given yahoo address is valid but hardly checked
(just to delete the spam once a week or so).

I don't believe that Chris restricted redistribution in his "license".
The mod is simply not being uploaded publically out of respect to the
author, as is the custom in the community.

Probably "license" was a badly chosen word. I was referring to this
sentence in mtt3readme.txt:

"Allow me to reiterate. Please do not change this mod in any way and
redistrubute it without emailing me first."

Sounds like he's OK about redistribution then -just doesn't want altered
versions being sent out?

Sorry to necromancy this thread, my server had some problems that are
now fixed and it has created a lot of confusion.

Http://www.cs.okstate.edu/~woodsc/mtt/ is back up.

You may redistrubuite MTT all over the world as long as you don't
change the contents. My scentance, "Please do not change this mod in
any way and redistrubute it without emailing me first", was probably
unnecessarilly vague in this sense and was only structured so bluntly
because I had a problem with someone "rebranding" MTT and redist'ing it
having only changed my name to theirs.

Thanks for clarifying this, and glad to hear the site is back up. And,
thanks for a great mod.
