Mail Merge in Microsoft Works

I know that I can merge data in a Mail Merge document from a database or the
address book. In a database I can easily select records by checking them and
then using a filter to only merge checked records. How can I select only a
few addresses from the address book that have nothing in common?

| I'm sorry that I ticked you off. The address book and Microsoft Works are
| basically part of XP. It's too bad that the people here only know about
the
| operating system and nothing else. I am using Microsoft's web site
| application to access this group and microsoft.public.works.win is not
| available there.
|
| BTW: I solved it myself.

Works is *not* "basically part of XP." It's a separate application, or
group of application. You have Outlook Express; why not use it for
newsgroup access?
