I've tried everything, every google search, every search of this forum, and don't understand why more people aren't running into this issue.
The first time I clicked a mailto link in chrome in Windows 11, it offered to set up my e-mail in outlook. Obviously I don't want use Microsoft's software with it's awful layouts and crash-inducing ram usage. I declined and set all the default mail links in settings to chrome. Now, if I click a mailto link in chrome, it just opens up a blank webpage of the link, it doesn't open up gmail. Why does windows have to ruin everything?
(and also does anyone know how to fix this?)
