[SOLVED] Matching same model with different speeds?

So I have a HyperX Fury 8GB 2133MHz ram chip. However, at least in my country, these have been discontinued in all the shops I could find. There are 3200 MHz and 2933 MHz models of the same brand I can find but will they work?

They might, they might not, it's a lottery, the same model from a different box is not guaranteed to, and is quite likely not to, work.

The best is buy what you might possibly need at the start, or sell what you have and buy a set of the size you want.

Maybe, maybe not. If it works the faster ram will down clock to match.

Make sure to have good return policy if it doesn't work.

Ram are best sold in kits. Probably best to buy buy a new pair and sell/gift your current ram or keep as spare.
