Me to XP

If I have a "For Evaluation Purposes Only" Me, can I still use the new XP upgrade. Microsoft says I can't, but how can they tell?

Did microsoft give you the software for free? Is that what you mean by evaluation? They're still the real deal. I've done the upgrade.

i just installed the 180 days preview today on my laptop. i upgraded from ME, it worked great. had hella trouble trying to upgrade from 2k tho. didnt do it in the end so i put it on my laptop
