[citation][nom]blashyrkh[/nom]There's no such thing as "Macedonia" He is from Skopia, or FYROM. Macedonia is a province of Greece. Politics aside, that is one smart kid.[/citation]

Shouldn't you be working to pay that $100billion euro debt that your nationalistic government got your Greek people into?
Republic of Macedonia is recognized by United states and more than 130 countries, including Britain, China and Russia, so go and fix your nationalistic frustrations on a different place. I would recommend you to get some professional help.

Maybe this kid is the next Alexander. He'll make the rest of Greece his bitch.

[citation][nom]Xatos[/nom]Kid probably couldn't find his way out from underneath a blanket though.[/citation]
what does that even mean?

At 9 years old, there's no way he's a computer "genius." He may be very gifted for his age, but it will take a lot more than 9 years (as well as some higher education) before he'll have been exposed to and understand enough to qualify as a "genius." Stories like this highlight how little the people outside of our field understand it and the people in it. This is like saying a 9 year old who can bake omelets and cookies and birthday cakes and has a recipe book is a master chef.

indeed, microsoft systems suck so bad even a little boy could design them.

Any child can learn 5 languages is they are taught during the right age. It has to do with brain development. It does not make the kid a genius. The rest was just a kid talking like an IT professional. And much like IT professionals he may, or may NOT, know what the tech behind the words he is using does or means. Lets see applied genius, then I will applaud.

[citation][nom]Kelavarus[/nom]Ha! I had that same feeling with computers!... Sadly I'm not a genius. /envyIt irritates me, people say I'm 'smart' because I can reformat a computer and clean it a little. No, I'm just normal. Everyone else is... Hehe.[/citation]

I know exactly what you mean, I can put Linux on a flash drive with persistence and play games at school and people think I'm amazing. they're wrong, it is people like this that are. I hope this kid becomes a systems engineer as long as he is making his own choice on the matter.

What a disgusting segue. From a brilliant kid to a woman who gave a few starving people a bit of food, and convinced many that blind faith in religion was as good as food. NO, the brilliant effort of kids, geniuses or not, is the way to food and a happy life. Mother Theresa promotes a leprous disease of the human mind, Marco Calasan is an inspiration for any honest mind willing to think, rather than blindly believe the claims of a wrinkly old woman dressed in a near Niqab.

[citation][nom]JasonAkkerman[/nom]While this kid is obviously very special and gifted, it's a shame that he wants to be a systems engineer. An intellect like his would be put to better use in theoretical physics, or biomedical engineering.[/citation]
I wholeheartedly agree.
[citation][nom]Igot1forya[/nom]Once he meets a girl... all his genius will go out the window. You just wait and see...[/citation]
Sadly, this is probably true as well... 🙁
