Memory Installation Issue, Asus Rampage II gene

Hey yall-

I just build my computer a couple days ago and I got everything running nice and smooth except for the RAM. I have an Asus Rampage II Gene mobo and I want to run 12 gigs of Corsair Ram on it (1333MHz, 1.50v, part # HX3X12G1333C9). With anymore than 4 gigs (2 sticks) it won't even post, sometimes even with just the 4 gigs it won't post. The timing according to the stick is 9-9-9-24. Im pretty new to this whole having to adjust the RAM through the bios so Im completely lost right now. Please help

If it is,then test the RAMs separately,i mean start with 2GB ones,and test them one by one and see if it works with all of them

Raise the memory voltage to 1.65v, relax the timings and increase Northbridge voltage.

So asus is telling me that my ram is not on the "certified" vendor list for the mobo. Would this actually cause my ram to not work or is just a load of bull

No,there are many RAMs that aren't in the Certified list but they work with no problem.
