Question Microphone not working after factory reset

I factory reset my computer completely and the next I know my microphone dosen't work. I try to get it to work and it ends up working just ever so slightly. It barely relays any sound coming from my microphone. The bit rate is 48000 Hz. How do I fix this?

Make and model of the microphone? Did you reinstall the drivers?

I recently found out that it isnt the mic, I tried a different headset and the same results came up. The microphone I use works perfectly fine on any other pc/device.

I use a razor headset. Unsure why or how to install drivers but im sure I did.
