I've just installed SP2 and now my wireless mouse has stopped working. I have
tried uninstalling the Intellimouse software that came with the mouse and
reinstalling. Nothing. I've tried to get Windows to find the new hardware,
and no joy. I can install the mouse on another W2K box, so the hardware is
fine. I've tried installing the lastest Intellimouse software (5.2 I think it
was), and still no joy -- there is no option for an Intellimouse Explorer
1.0, only for 2.0. My USB ports work as I can attach other devices to the
same ports.

I can't find anything on the web to help me out. Any ideas? I'd hate to have
to go out and buy a newer mouse as it's only a year or so old.

OK, I've worked out that none of my USB ports are working. My printer is
dead, and my camera, etc. It's not a mouse problem, but a USB port problem.
Now to figure out how to get the USB ports working again ...
