Hello, I have a problem with Windows Update not updating. I looked at the Microsoft Support page. It gave me a second option besides the normal update option, which does not work I get text saying "We’re sorry. The security center could not change your automatic update settings...." So I tried option 2 and something is missing. Here is the example:

----------------------
Make sure that the NoAutoUpdate registry entry is enabled in the registry. To do this, follow these steps:

Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.

In the left pane, locate and then click the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU

In the right pane, double-click NoAutoUpdate, and make sure that the Value data box contains a value of 0.

If the Value data box contains a value of 1, type 0 in the Value data box, and then click OK.
Exit Registry Editor.
Restart the computer.

The problem is 'NoAutUpdate' is not available as a choice.

In the option box are these 4 things:
1.Little white flag says 'ab' called 'default' (value not set).
2.DetectionFrequency '0x00000001' (1)
3.DetectionFrequencyEnabled '0x00000001' (1)
4.NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers '0x00000000' (0)

I would love some help.

Thank you very much.
