Hey everyone, I was having an issue with my pc not posting when turning it on. (Happened maybe 2 out of 5 times) Saw a post saying resetting cmos could help.

After doing this, it shot me straight into bios and won’t let me leave. Through some digging it’s not showing my bootable drive. It was my nvme that apparently disappeared. I have 2 nvme slots on my mother board and I moved it to the other one making sure it was fully seated and still didn’t show. Not sure where to go from here..

Any help would be appreciate.

SPECS
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (WiFi 6) AMD
NVME: WD_Black SN750, 500GB NVMe Internal Gaming SSD - Gen3 PCle,
GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz
Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 2TB Internal Hard Drive HDD - 3.5 Inch SATA

Which sata port is your Seagate drive plugged into? Make sure its not Sata 6G_5 or 6 since those ports interfere with the M.2_2 socket. You could leave the Seagate unplugged from the sata ports until you can get the booting situation resolved.
Honestly don’t remember which port it’s plugged into. I built it about 4 years ago. I’ll unplug it when I get off work and see if it picks the NVME back up.

I appreciate the response. I’ll let ya know how it goes.

I removed the Seagate drive. Bios still doesn’t recognize the NVME. I’ll try and move it back to the original slot and see if that makes a difference..
