[citation][nom]coonday[/nom]That's precisely what I was trying to get at here. However, not buying the game doesn't show that you're a fan of games, it shows that you're a fan boy(of PC gaming). People who truly like games will play a good game no matter what platform it runs on, whether it be PS3, DS, iPhone, or PC.[/citation]
I love games, and generally agree with you that it doesn't matter what platform it's on, but the PC does matter. We spend hundreds [thousands?] of dollars because for the last 15 years the experience on a console has been child's play in comparison to the treatment we get on a PC. This is coming from someone who's favorite console is the DS. It's not about power or "better graphics", though that is true, it's about having some control over our content. It's about the fact that mods kept half life's engine going for many years after it was released. The PC is the one gaming medium that we have a say in, but that's going down the drain.
To be honest, I won't be buying CODMW2, but not out of spite, I won't buy it because I bought every other call of duty game for the multiplayer, and so it's a worthless game to me.
