I have an Acer H236HL monitor that I'm trying to use while I save up for a better one. When I plug it in and press the power button, however, nothing happens. I know the cord is getting power, as the light on the box is on. But the monitor isn't doing anything. I checked Acer's website, and tried unplugging it, then holding the power button for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in, but that didn't work. It might just be that this monitor is old and dead, but I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions before I give up on it.

Only thing I can think of if this monitor has multiple inputs, HDMI, VGA etc and u need to switch its input, but highly unlikely as the monitor then should display what input is currently locked to. U have no another source to test this on?
I can’t switch the input because the monitor itself won’t even turn on
When I press the power button, nothing happens
