im looking for a monitor that will play amnesia and penumbra without vsync on because i dont like using it and i like to use my pc to its full speed and potential anyone got any good suggestions on good monitors the one i have at the moment screen tears with those games. budget is about £266 cheaper the better really

It's not your monitor that's a limiting factor....VSYNC setting can be turned off within your game settings. VSYNC basically caps your FPS at your monitors refresh rate. (usually 60/60). Turning VSYNC off and running 100fps at 60Hz is going to look EXACTLY the same as 60/60.

If you looking for a monitor that's going to make a difference past 60fps/60Hz then you need a 3D ready (120Hz Monitor).
