Moon Sickle (spoily)

I've been down to the sage, and haven't yet found moon sickle (Exploring
all options for getting an AoLS...). Which levels can it be generated on?
Any level between Khelly and Dwarftown aside from DH1, DH2 and the
forest.. or is possible its been generated too deep to be of use to me in
this way?

FWIW... I found Moon Sickle on D18. It can definitely be generated below
Khelly.
