That's nice. Such a convincing arguement, too.

Well, IME 4 x 4th level Orc fighters can do a lot of damage to an 8th
level party that hadn't planned for a run-in with orcs. If you expect
ogres and get a dragon, you can be in trouble. If you expect a bunch
of gnoll archers and get orc meleeists, you can be in trouble. Lack of
planning gets you beaten up.

By this logic all monsters that can dish out lots and lots of damage
in one round are under-rated. One mistake vs a troll (CR5) will result
in dead 6th or 7th level characters. The same goes with giants.
