Question motherboard and cpu

I would like to by

ASUS ROG LGA1151 (300 Series) DDR4 HDMI DVI M.2 ATX Motherboard

But I am not sure on the correct CPU I was thinking Intel Coffee Lake Core i5 9400F 6 Core 2.9Ghz 9MB Cache, LGA 1151 6 Core/ 6 Threads

Will the CPU work with motherboard?

Which particular motherboard? I'd imagine a few of the z370 motherboards may need a BIOS update to support the Intel 9000-series CPUs.
