Motherboard backplates

if i want to install new motherboard and the rear panel is different than the existing panel ( new mbo is btx and my options where limited) but new mbo does not include backplate are there universal plates available or does it have to be one made for that mbo. any suggestions would be appreciated.

yes ubtx, i want to upgrade to a core 2 (current board only goes to pent. d) and case is btx. found btx mbo from ascendtech.us but am pretty sure it does not come with back plate. are there any universal type plates? or can i modify existing plate?

Not at you, manny. At Intel.

Timeline:
Intel thermal load goes sky high in ATX boards.
Intel develops incompatible BTX standards to alleviate the problem.
Then, at the same time Intel develops the more efficient Core2 architecture, case design gets better.
Everybody goes back to ATX.

My suggestion is to start saving for a new i5 or AMD system
